The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau takes great pleasure in welcoming you to our corner of Massachusetts. The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau is celebrating our 20th anniversary promoting the Greater Merrimack Valley in 2012. We are officially recognized by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) as one of the State's 16 Regional Tourism Councils established by the Legislature to market the region as a premier travel destination.
Our primary mission is to enhance the economic fabric of the Greater Merrimack Valley region by marketing the area to visitors worldwide. As part of the New England Landscape, our changing seasons adds to the vibrancy of the region, and with these seasons come distinctive attractions. Each of our cities and towns has its own unique history and charm.
If you plan group tours or are looking to host a convention or large scale meeting in the Greater Merrimack Valley, the CVB can help. We offer a range of complimentary services, including assistance with pre-event planning, site visits, bid proposals, program assistance, guest programs/special events, publicity and promotion, destination literature, and local ambassadors to greet your guests!
The CVB also helps to plan, promote and support a number of annual and special events each year, including Lowell's Winter Fest celebration every February, Lexington and Concord's Patriots' Day celebrations in April, the world-famous Lowell Folk Festival in July and the Merrimack Valley Jazz festival in August.
